- Avoid side loads on the plunger during handling; check actuation force after assembly.
Assembly & reflow details:
Follow the top-view land pattern: pad width 0.70 mm, length 2.30 mm, pad-to-pad span 5.00 mm, and row spacing 2.80 mm. Use a 0.10–0.12 mm stencil and aim for even paste deposits on all four pads to keep the part level during reflow. Verify coplanarity before placement and avoid pushing on the plunger while the solder is molten. After reflow, inspect solder fillets and test several units for actuation feel. If cleaning is required, use a controlled process and avoid liquids that could wick into the plunger. Store tape-and-reel per MSL guidance to maintain consistent click force.
