Description

The 2.0mm vertical DC power jack is a top-entry, through-hole PCB connector designed for compact direct-current power input and switching applications. Based on the supplied drawing, model DW-DJ-S200-X-02 uses a 2.0 mm nickel-plated brass center pin, three silver-plated copper-alloy terminals, and a black high-temperature thermoplastic housing and cover.

The connector is rated at 30 V and 1 A. Initial contact resistance is specified at 50 mΩ maximum, increasing to 80 mΩ maximum after 5,000 mating cycles. Insulation resistance is 100 MΩ minimum when tested at 500 V DC for one minute, while dielectric withstanding voltage is 500 V RMS for one minute.

Its three-terminal circuit includes a switched-contact arrangement, allowing the PCB circuit to change state when a compatible DC plug is inserted or removed. The vertical top-entry orientation helps conserve board-edge space and provides plug access perpendicular to the PCB. A recommended through-hole PCB layout is included in the engineering drawing for accurate board preparation.

The 2.0mm vertical DC power jack is specified for insertion and withdrawal forces from 0.3 to 3.0 kgf, equivalent to 2.94 to 29.4 N. Minimum mechanical life is 5,000 cycles. An amber Mylar insulating component is included in the construction, and the complete connector is identified as RoHS compliant.
